All space requests should be submitted through the PGF Space Request Form. If you encounter any issues submitting the request, please email to ugapgf@uga.edu. Requests for research space should be submitted at least one month in advance while teaching requests should be submitted at least two months in advance.
After the request has been submitted, the superintendent may contact you for more details about your project and confirm or deny the reservation depending on the availability. The reservation could be denied due to occupancy status, restrictions applied to a greenhouse or chamber, service status, etc.
Growth Chamber Reservations
Please include the following information in your space request email:
- Subject Line:
- “PGF Growth Chamber Space Request {Date}”
- Email Body:
- The project timeline (Tentative Start and End Date),
- The Chart String assigned to the project (Speedtype – Fund – Program – Class – Department – Operating Unit)
- Crop-type
- Desired temperature parameters (Day and night minimum and maximum temperatures)
- Desired Light Levels and the Photoperiod
- Main Point of Contact who is directly involved in the research
- The intended point of contact for quarterly invoicing
